Take a stroll along the coastal path, stopping off along the way to explore the many coves and bays. Enjoy the blue flag beaches on this beautiful coastline.
New Quay
New Quay is a short drive from Ocean Heights. It has beautiful sandy beaches with rock pools and a pretty harbour. The seaside town is full of pubs, shops, cafes, restaurants, chip shops and take away. There are fishing boats, dolphin and seal spotting trips, kayak hire, scenic coastal walks, a water sports centre all available from the harbour.

Heading south from New Quay you will come to
Llanina Woods and beach
Go out of New Quay along the B4342, take the first left past Quay West Caravan Park and follow the signs for Cei Bach. Along this road just before the little bridge, you will come to LLanina Woods. There is a carpark on the right. Across the road from the carpark is a short walk beside the stream leading to a beautiful beach.
Cei Bach
If you walk over the bridge along the road to the T-junction, turn left and then left again. Go 400yds down this road to Cei Bach beach. (I suggest walking as there is nowhere to park on the road leading to Cei Bach beach).

At low tide you can walk from New Quay all the way round to Cei Bach beach. This a lovely walk whatever the weather.
Aberaeron
If you travel about five miles north, this pretty award-winning harbour town with its tidal harbour with two beaches one either side of the harbour. It has multi coloured terraced houses, pubs, restaurants and interesting independent shops.

Llanerchaeron
If you take the Lampeter road out of Aberaeron you will come to a National Trust property at Llanerchaeron, an 18th Century Mansion available for tour. There is a café and a river side trail.

Cwmtydu Cove
The carpark is directly overlooking the cove and beach. To the left a river that runs into the sea and there are walks to both sides up and over the hills. Not for the feint hearted but if you walk up the hill on the right, there is another cove on the other side. The views are breath-taking. There is also a cafe

Llangrannog
This picturesque setting has two pubs and a café. The Pentre Arms and The Beach Hut Café overlook the bay. The cafe serves coffee, cakes, fish and chips and Welsh specialties. The Ship Inn is set back behind the carpark and there is a general store.

Penbryn Sands
There is a carpark and café. From here you can walk down the hill to a beautiful sandy beach.

Tresaith
Another beautiful bay and another Ship Inn where they serve food and drinks. At low tide you can walk round the rock pools to the freshwater waterfall. Parking near the beach is restricted. There is a car park at the top or if you like to walk, you could park in Aberporth and walk along the coastal path.

Aberporth
There is a small car park above the beach. Stunning views all round and there is an adjacent beach which is also dog friendly with another car park. There are pubs, cafes, a chip shop, and Chinese take away.

Mwnt
A beautiful hidden cove, a haven for wildlife. One of the best places to see dolphins and seals. This is a must see with its spectacular views across Cardigan Bay.
The Eglwys y Grog, The Church of the Holy Cross at Mwnt is a parish church and Grade I listed building dating possibly from the 13th century.
There is a small café and shop. Dogs are not allowed on the beach between May and September

Cardigan Town is a busy seaside town with The Guildhall indoor Market and a castle, shops pubs and cafes. Teifi Marshes Nature Reserve is well worth a visit.
